Adventureland always holds a special place in my heart. This was the first amusement park I ever visited as a kid in the early '90s, & The Tornado and Super Screamer (RIP) were the 1st coasters I rode

This is a really good theme park for the family, a lot of kids rides. If you're a Rollercoaster fanatic I would suggest going to six flags instead though.

The carry along paper map shows you can go across the raging river tube ride bridge to get to the outlaw & water park area. Not true! Follow the big wooden sign posted maps around the park instead. ;)

Spend the hottest part of the day near the rides. So many awesome benches, great breeze, and shade trees. The water park area is scorching with little to no cover.

Check your local credit unions for discount tickets...$12 off regular adult admission! Yep, 3 times for us this year...may have to consider passes!

Fun but the people that work here have no sense of urgency. It took almost 30minutes to get a walking taco, and if you want a funnel cake - forget about it unless you want to wait an hour or more.
